NIGHTMARE

A POEM

I dreamt that we were away in beautiful paradise.

I dreamt that we were sleeping under the moonlight.

No electricity.

No sounds but the crickets.

Just fireflies, stars, and moonlight.

The Earth. It was God’s gift to us...
